Having worked in both full-feature and documentary films across the globe, Director/Producer Phillip Andrew Morton wanted a distinctive brand that mirrors his bold and intimate approach to storytelling. The design solution: an identity rooted in the spirit of the Roman insignia, coupled with a mid-80's vibe, thanks to MTV (his early childhood influence).
The brand identity establishes a high-contrast palette for visual impact while the website serves as a flexible showcase of his ever-increasing projects. Phillip is currently directing Spanish Lake, a documentary focused on the emotions of a middle-class American town devastated by economic hardship, white flight, and escalating crime.
